Mid Coast Hospital opened five years ago. Since then, we have seen constantly increasing demand for our services in every department. Because of the confidence our patients and their families have shown, we are at or near capacity in our medical surgical inpatient unit, our emergency department, and our diagnostic imaging department.
On Tuesday, August 7, 2007, Brenda Harvey, Maine
Commissioner of Health and
Human Services, signed the final approval for
our Certificate of Need
application for expansion of Mid Coast Hospital.
This critical
approval allows us to engage the architects and
construction
management team
in this project.
Please visit the links below to learn about our expansion plans and how they will help patients, their families and the communities we serve.
Thank you all for your help and support.
